@the_cricketest Would it be possible to compare ER of 3 overs after the first. As say if he goes for 20 in his first and 20 in next 3 it’s still 10 RPO, but if he bowls a maiden in 1st and goes for 30 in next 3 that would be 7.5 RPO and look better in this metric, despite bowling worse post 1st

I’m as upset as anyone about how England have gone in Australia, I’ve got tickets to both Melbourne and Sydney and was in Adelaide.

You talk about adding context to data, that’s what ball tracking data does, cricket is behind other sports on this.

@ROB_Robireland Why is this an issue for Scotland? We don’t have a third pro team, national team is only available to coach for months of the year, and GT knows all players. He spends time each year with other coaches to try and boost Scotland, is signing Scottish players to Newcastle worse?

@RugbyInsideLine I’m struggling with the idea that an England hooker with 3 caps, is better than a Scotland one with nearly 50. Or his younger countrymen who have both played for England more recently, or a more recently capped Springbok hooker.
