You would think I'd have realized over the last 5+ years that it's simply not worth one's time to engage in "discussion" of important political issues on Twitter with stupid, rabidly partisan individuals that are not interested in facts or logic...but alas I haven't.
@cnmatthews@vbspurs Yes, Philip was a great great grandson of Victoria through his mother (Alice of Battenberg) and Elizabeth was a great great granddaughter of Victoria through her father (George VI)...so third cousins. Not sure about the Christian IX relationship for Elizabeth...it's complicated.
@TomPortner49945@frontwraps@NBCSports Further, nobody "lays up" by hitting driver off the deck...you hit a lesser club (a 4 iron, a hybrid, a 3 wood, etc.). Scottie was just trying to get as close to the green as he could. In no sense of the word was he laying up.
@TomPortner49945@frontwraps@NBCSports It was not a "lay up"...a lay up is when there is the potential/option to hit the green or carry a hazard but there is also risk and the decision is made to not go for it. Here, as you point out, he couldn't reach the green so it was not a "lay up"...it was just his second shot.
@BGinge8@PodgeMurphy95 But isn't everyone else "treading water" too...nobody is making a move to close the gap and catch him. But frankly I'm not certain I'm really getting your point...
@TrevorImmelman My thought is, why is nobody talking about the best players in the world taking just under 6 hours to play a round of golf?? It's ridiculous. 🤯👎
