Iโve spoken quite a bit about why Iโm bullish on $BATON, but I want to explain why Iโm equally excited about Onwards ๐ and why I think the pairing between the two is so interesting.
First, the lore behind $Onwards is genuinely one of my favourite parts.
Alon has actually replied to a Baton Corporation tweet with โonwards ๐โ. What's even more interesting is that Baton Corporation itself used to sign off its posts with โonwards ๐โ.
Think about that for a second. The same phrase, the same horse emoji, and a connection to the actual company behind Pumpfun. It's not some random narrative that the community had to manufacture out of thin air. There's already a story there.
But the lore is only half of why I like it.
The bigger reason is the relationship between Onwards and Baton through Pumpfun's Custom Pairs.
Normally, when a new derivative starts attracting attention and volume, it competes with the original coin for liquidity. Traders rotate out of one into the other, and the communities end up fighting over which one deserves the attention.
With Onwards paired to Baton, that dynamic changes.
Trading activity in Onwards can generate buying pressure for Baton through the paired liquidity mechanism. So instead of Onwards having to steal attention and liquidity from Baton to succeed, activity in Onwards can actually contribute to Baton's growth.
That's what makes this so interesting to me.
You have two different communities, two different identities, and two different reasons for people to speculate, but their success doesn't have to come at each other's expense.
Someone can discover Onwards because of the Alon lore, trade it without ever holding Baton directly, and still contribute to the ecosystem surrounding Baton.
And as Baton grows, the association gives Onwards an even stronger narrative to build around.
I think people are underestimating how powerful that relationship could become if both communities continue growing.
Baton represents the actual company behind Pumpfun. Onwards represents a phrase tied to that company's history and even echoed by Alon himself.
The lore connects them, and the pairing gives that connection an economic dimension.
That's a much more compelling setup to me than two unrelated memes competing for the same liquidity.
I don't see Onwards as competition to Baton. I see it as a complementary bet on the same broader narrative.
And the more volume Onwards attracts, the more interesting that relationship becomes.
Onwards ๐
@Onwardssol (Riskier setup, Iโve never shilled a play this low before on X so manage risk)
Attaching all my findings here.
I donโt usually write theses the only other one Iโve written was on $BONER. When I do, itโs because Iโm very bullish.
New thesis alert below: ๐งต๐
The $ONWARDS thesis is simple: a memorable slogan can grow beyond the brand that created it.
Batonโs early threads repeatedly signed off with โOnwards ๐.โ You can still find it in archived 2023 posts, including a thread now attributed to https://t.co/HRT49ZLTu2. That gives the meme a documented connection to the platformโs early history.
$BATON captures the name. $ONWARDS captures the mindset: keep building, keep moving, keep going.
You can end a tweet with it. Celebrate a win with it. Recover from a loss with it. The horse gives it a recognizable visual, and the signoff gives the community something easy to repeat. If people adopt that habit, each message becomes another opportunity for the meme to spread.
The $100 million bull case requires that repetition to turn into sustained demand: a growing community, wider recognition, deeper liquidity, and buyers who stay interested beyond the initial discovery of the backstory. The historical connection provides the starting point; adoption would have to support the valuation.
Could it eventually flip $BATON? Potentially if the slogan becomes more widely recognized and traded than the name behind it. To do that, Onwards would need to develop an identity and audience that extend beyond BATON holders (which I believe is doing).
The opportunity is a phrase with genuine history that people can make their own.

$ALTAI ๐
This might genuinely be one of the craziest meme coin narratives ever ๐ญ
Barney was literally at the zoo when the whole tiger situation went down and deployed the coin while everything was unfolding.
you literally cannot make this shit up. the timing, the lore, the origin storyโฆ everything is insane.
now there are even rumors about possible donations ๐
this is what makes meme coins different. you can create all the narratives you want, but you can't manufacture a story like this.
if CT catches onto this, $ALTAI could be one of those coins everyone wishes they found earlier.
the lore is there. the story is real. now it's all about how far it spreads. ๐ ๐ฅ๐
