When he came out of high school, I didn’t think Haynes King had the arm talent to be successful in college at a high level. I was wrong. He has been impressive.
@BenRogers Probably a trick question but I’ll take the bait. Just taking the first 4 rounds (16 picks), only 5 of those players are legitimate contributors with 11 being bust due to injury or poor performance. That’s a bad run and not the draft success Cowboys had in years prior.
@mattmosley Last I checked, pass rushers don’t have any coverage responsibilities. QBs don’t need much time when WRs are 5-10 yards away from the nearest defender. It’s fun and easy for people to blame the Parsons trade for this. It’s a lazy take targeting Jerry. But this secondary is 💩.
ESPN Research: Derrick Henry has now tied Jim Brown for the most games with 150 rush yards and 2 rushing touchdowns in NFL history, regular season and postseason combined (13)
@bonchieredstate@benshapiro Conservative gun owners and 2A defenders: “Gun violence is bad, but I will carry to defend myself and my family.”
Liberals: “Gun violence is bad, but using guns to kill CEOs of big corporations is understandable.”
Amazing.
This complaining about the sun and windows is funny because it’s a silly distraction from the fact that this roster is awful. If the Cowboys are good enough, they will win. If they aren’t, they lose. The sun glare has no impact on this. lol
A frustrated Jerry Jones had some comments about the sun impacting play at AT&T Stadium: “By the way, we know where the sun is going to be when we decide to flip the coin or not. We do know where the damn sun is going to be in our own stadium.”
Why not put up curtains over the windows?
Jerry: “Well let’s tear the damn stadium down and build another one? Are you kidding me?
“Everybody has got the same thing. Every team that comes in here has the same issues.
“I’m saying, the world knows where the sun is. You get to know that almost a year in advance. Someone asked me about the sun. What about the sun? Where’s the moon?”
Just listened to @CowboysBreak and @derekeagleton had a valid point about giving benefit of the doubt. I agree, but… the Chiefs have earned that. Dallas hasn’t. Especially after the NO and BAL games. Good win. Need to see more.
Picked a heck of a day to try to get home. Shout out to every @delta employee I’ve come across today. I can’t imagine the hell they are dealing with today but every one of them have been incredibly nice and helpful. I’ve never seen anything like today.
I was recently told that I had a negative general vibe and that I’m always looking for someone to blame. Not sure I agree with that. Nevertheless, here’s something positive: Since 2000, the global average income per person per year has doubled. Did you know that? Now you do.
Airports today have become the bus stations of 10 years ago. If you want to see how badly some folks take care of themselves, visit the Atlanta airport. It’s sad.
@full_rosster You are one if the smartest people I have ever met. I respect your opinion. But I was simply making an observation about people in the airport. I think DEi policies are detrimental. I have witnessed it firsthand:
@full_rosster Oh FFS! I was simply making an airport observation. Air travel is more affordable. People make more money. Degreulation. DEI. It’s not the boogeyman. I have seen firsthand companies hire based on race or gender. This isn’t some imaginary tale. It happens every day.
