@QueerlyEnn@LinkofSunshine It’s not 100% the same, season ticket holders typically get tickets to postseason games, including the finals for much cheaper than face value. I was able to go to Game 2 of the 2021 NBA Finals for $250 as a Suns season ticket holder while the resale market was well over $1000
@CaryHawkins_@mattyglesias 90%+ of voters don’t actually want policies, they want outcomes. Do the good policies that actually achieve their preferred outcomes.
@JeremiahDJohns Early on. That way you can plan how to spend it in the best way. Get it late and you’re just stuck spending it on what you can do quickly. Plus, early money can show strength to insiders who want to support a winner and lead to more money and endorsements.
Yes, I'm judging your Phoenix Suns fandom if you're rooting for the San Antonio Spurs.
You're also telling on yourself about how long you've been a fan.
Go Knicks.
Very arbitrarily-timed post for some of my thoughts on where the Arizona Senate stands, both as it is and looking to how November may look
With the environment and turnout dynamics as they are, Democrats have a real chance to retake the Senate for the first time since 1990.
In D4, Ed Hermes has a massive lead over a crowded field, raising over $240k, of which $210k came from individual donors and only ~$28k from the candidate (not a loan). His $211k cash on hand is more than all other candidates combined and quadruple his closest competitor.
Yesterday, campaign finance reports were filed for the first time for this year's Phoenix City Council candidates, covering the start of campaigning through the end of Q1. There are two open seats covering the most competitive races - and it's time to check in, who's winning?
Recently, A lady playing fetch with her dog off leash resulted in her dog chasing me. She apologized, and immediately left shamefully. The next day, she was back in the same place with her dog off leash playing fetch again. Nothing is being done about it. @PhoenixParks
Bad dog owners must be shamed.
It is simply unacceptable that every day I go to the park and see 3-5 unleashed dogs - when there's literally a fenced dog park just a thousand feet away in the same park. It's the same people every day violating the law and basic human decency.
i'm not a bioethicist studying human-dog relations, i'm just a guy, but there's no "arms race" going on. dog owners knowingly and blatantly violate long settled, clearly established norms and formal rules and people aren't happy about it
