Welp, that happened faster than I predicted. Thought it would be end of 2027, then early 2027, but agentic traffic growing so fast that bots have now passed human traffic online for the first time in the Internet's history. https://t.co/2zX5bHdhsa
🏋️♂️ Absolute legend alert: James Lawrence (The Iron Cowboy) just completed 50 full Ironman triathlons in 50 states in 50 days, swimming 120 miles, biking 5,600 miles, and running 1,300 miles (including a marathon every single day).
With his wife and five kids by his side, he pushed through extreme fatigue, minimal sleep, and massive logistical challenges (and even fell asleep on his bike at one point).
This is incredibly inspiring. He showed that with unbreakable mental toughness and a supportive crew, we can achieve things others say are impossible. What an amazing example of human potential!

What is the most undervalued stock in the U.S. that meets this criteria: profitable, FCF generative, ROE of at least 10% and growing? This is not a screen I run but wanted to keep the hurdle low and easy for people to screen for. Only looking for one stock and why it’s cheap. Go
This company made a big splash for a lot of reasons. It looks like an important company that I'm sad I missed out on. But I want to say in addition to everything else, Westmag has an awesome logo. It’s a W. It’s an M. It’s the sections of copper winding. It’s beautiful.
“We don’t go a day without thinking back to prior cycles (I, Nick, have seen every one since the early 1970s) and feel somewhat amazed that the US economy continues to power through every obstacle in its way.” - Nick Colas @DataTrekMB
SITUATION EXPLAINED: Robotics needs an actuator fab the way semiconductors needed a chip fab.
We asked @jordansanders0 & @boxcardavid of @westmagco what that would unlock for the industry.
"Our ultimate goal is to supply the entire industry... what it basically does is speed up iteration cycles. You don't run into the problem of where am I gonna get reliable supply of actuators."
"When there is an actuator fab that pumps out a lot of actuators, it will be just like with chip fabs. If you want a lot of people to make different types of chips, you need the fab first."
"Everyone's looking ahead to the robot future, not when we need to build a million robots a year, but what does it look like when we have to build a hundred million robots a year?"
"If you're gonna have the largest TAM industry ever, you should build it at home."
We can finally talk about the worst kept secret in hardware. Proud to partner with @boxcardavid, @jordansanders0, and the @westmagco team as they scale motor and actuator production in America. Why here? Because it's home.
Excited for Lux family co @westmagco led by brilliant @boxcardavid who is definition of an obsessed super smart sector founder who has likely forgotten more about motors actuators and magnets and robotics than most will ever know!;)
Beyond excited for this because the world’s largest pneumatic and robotic actuator companies are all based outside of the U.S., mainly in Japan and Europe. This is something we desperately need to onshore…
Westmag is building American robot actuators and drone motors at scale.
In 2025, @westmagco raised $11M led by @a16z, with participation from @FoundersFund, @LuxCapital, NFDG, @MenloVentures, and other top investors.
Since then, we’ve been building industrial capacity, crawling up supply chains, and securing high-volume customers.
Now, we’re ramping production at our factory in South San Francisco to deliver against committed offtake orders from high-volume customers.
Westmag is committed to scaling quickly in the US to deliver millions of drone motors and robot actuators to the surging domestic and global market.
We’re building the great American motor and actuator company.
Buddy of mine asked for resources to get up to speed on the last 6 months of AI, LLM development, +more.
Honestly, the best resource has been logging onto X every day over the last few years + podcasts from leading investors/people working at the labs or leading the hyperscalers + product releases & events from NVDA/Frontier Labs/etc.
I sent a ton of podcasts and sites which I'll link in here but figure I'd crowdsource some resources. Not meant to be exhaustive but more to flag for folks the outlets+people+podcasts to follow as a foundation. Imagine it'd be helpful for folks that don't live & breathe this daily or have access to sell-side.

This is an astoundingly rapid change in something so basic. In 15 years the proportion of people who say college is very important has decreased by more than half.
Dog sitting this week. First time we’ve had a dog in the house since ours passed three years ago. I forgot how lovely they are to have around. Will need to remedy this.
