@JeffRisdon Jeff, any chance you could give us a breakdown of what you saw from Marcus Davenport today? The D line was so much better at stopping the run when he was injured and he was awful again today. Would be curious to see some positives (if any) from your perspective.

@davebirkett @freep I still can't believe that Dan said this. The "line" on the punt unit consists of a long snapper, linebackers, and a 3rd string TE. Doesn't seem very bright to think that we "want" that to block Jalen Carter.

@JeffRisdon @CDsSportsTakes Jeff, any idea what the real story is behind the center situation? Were they truly blindsided by Ragnow's retirement? A regular fan could see that Graham was washed after last season. I cant imagine they drafted Tate thinking he would start at center on day 1. Make it make sense

@mastergurn @j_ekks @PrideOfDetroit Having a competent 2nd DE is important regardless of the coach or scheme. It's interesting that Davenport was brought back for next to nothing and basically a prove it deal. That shows they don't trust him to stay healthy. But then they didnt draft or sign any real depth.

@mastergurn @j_ekks @PrideOfDetroit Did you forget how we basically ignored the position throughout the draft? Edge has been a need, even before Hutch got hurt last year. No it doesnt need a superstar. But to act like Glass Davenport can be counted on is silly. No, Barnes is not a true edge.
