Spanberger doesn’t seem to know the state she is running to govern very well considering Virginia has had state-run liquor stores for several decades. State-run retail stores can work quite well in specific cases, and have in several states and in Canada for a long time now!

If you have gas appliances, you should’ve received a new utility bill, sent to you courtesy of Delta Utilities and the City Council. I’m going to break down mine to help people understand how bad the deal the Council agreed to was.

The gas sale to Delta was a terrible deal that only helped Entergy, and it’s going to cost ratepayers more and more each year. The council didn’t have to say yes to this, but they rubber stamped it last year, rushing it through barely 2 weeks before Christmas while you were busy
