Venezuelans voted overwhelmingly for peaceful regime change in 2024. Their vote was simply ignored. Again. Nicolás Maduro is not the legitimate president of Venezuela. The media has no business addressing him as such. It is a fake title, no more befitting him than the local street vendor. He is a usurper and a transnational criminal. After so many years of misery, we Venezuelans now understand that the only way to remove a bully protected by a ragtag army is with outside force. This wouldn’t be under discussion had he respected the will of the Venezuelan people. But that’s not how Cuban-grown dictatorships work.

According to a U.S. official who spoke with PBS News, SEAL Team 6 carried out four - not two - strikes on the suspected narco-trafficking vessel in the Southern Caribbean Sea on September 2, two to kill the eleven crewmembers and the last two to sink the vessel off the coast of Venezuela.
