The committee flipping Notre Dame and Miami without anything changing between those two teams last week is one of the greatest shams in the history of the playoff. What a total joke.
I think that Miami should have been over Notre Dame, but then they should have been last week
The Punchout is such a trend in the league these days, but you never really see anybody get punched square in the dick. It's a testament to the professionalism and talent these guys have.
Dak's contract and your inability to ever get out of it, essentially prevents an actual rebuild from happening. When you make the Micah trade, you are rebuilding, and now you're caught in the middle. It's better to get what you pay for, than to lack something you didn't buy.
Many are asking how this was missed.
Here’s why (and it’s not because of any grand conspiracy):
The still photo below shows the Umpire in the middle, who is the primary official, looking to his left. I can’t say why, but there is no reason for him to look that way.
It also shows the Center Judge (on the right side of the photo) looking to the left of the action. Again, I can’t say why.
The Referee, out of the picture to the right, is likely looking at the RT and defender but still should have seen something this obvious.
In summary, it was a total mechanical breakdown by at least two, maybe three, officials who should have called this.
The most embarrassing part about the Cowboys defense giving up that touchdown is that so many people thought that they would
Hard to be that predictably bad
Yeah, I hate Notre Dame but if it’s something that gives you the 3 points takedown in HS/College Wrestling, then it’s unequivocally holding in football.
