@BeardedHound @FF_XIV_EN Main Story Quest (MSQ) will be at its lowest during the start. It only gets better from here. Don't get too caught up in all the little yellow quests. Outside of the story, the real fun is interacting with other players (and this is coming from a major introvert who avoided it).

@Rainnell1 Finding the right FC made a huge difference in how I play FFXIV, and meeting people I can connect with. Charm, on Famfrit, has been an exemplary example. Super friendly and supportive in game, and a great discord community. I got to meet some of em in person at Charmcon recently.
