🚨Today, the Government announced an investment of over $660 million to advance equality and safety for women and 2SLGBTQI+ communities. We applaud the Minister of Finance for delivering on the support women need to rise.

My political allegiance is no secret but that doesn’t mean I can’t keep advocating for what I’ve dedicated my entire career to: gender equality. Read my latest op-Ed in @mtlgazette: https://t.co/eCsONxq3I3
@msSharanKaur No, but at a time when women’s rights are being pulled back south or the border it sends the wrong message to remove Minister of Gender Equality. Even Stephen Harper has always had a minister for status of women, albeit a junior minister.
Gender equality should not be an afterthought, it's the backbone of a strong economy.
The federal government's newly-announced cabinet eliminated the Minister for Women and Gender Equality, signalling a troubling shift in priorities.

Incredibly disappointing to see that @MarkJCarney didn’t replace @MarciIen as Minister of Gender Equality.
Focusing on gender equality is not just part of the solution as we navigate a difficult economic landscape, it is essential to Canada’s prosperity.
I’ve noticed recently that too many @TheHillTimes articles only quote experts that are men. @InformedOps has so many incredible women experts— take a look. And do better! https://t.co/Spo9tzmxiB
Hey folks. It's possible to disagree with someone & even to have been treated unfairly by them, yet respond to them with grace, respect & human dignity. We need more civility, less hatred. More forbearance, less bitterness. Let's be a nation where people are kind to one another.
Politics aside, sending virtual hugs and positive energy to all the staffers who probably found out about Freeland at the same time we all did and who now have probably very little direction or support. Remember: this is temporary and you’ll be OK ❤️
We at @CA_prosperity look forward to examining this new Bill and working with all parties at all levels of government to make sure families have access to affordable quality childcare. Going back to a direct payment model, however, is not the solution.

I couldn’t agree more @AnaPoilievre “ That is why…the world needs more women in leadership roles because they bring “something different to the table, different views.” @CA_prosperity is here if you want to learn about our initiatives.

Thank you @ICDCanada for shining a spotlight on the “leaky pipeline” phenomenon in your Journal. @CA_prosperity Annual Report Card collects data all Corporate Directors should be paying attention to. Take a look P.20-28 https://t.co/qvNQawHMyG
Our ED @jsavshaw, alongside Founding Visionaries Janet Ecker, Kathleen Taylor & Penny Collenette, are featured in the @TheTorontoSun writing about the $10-a-day childcare program. Accessible childcare empowers women & fuels economic growth.
