Feeling an abiding need to let Volodymyr Zelensky but, more importantly, all Ukrainians know that there is a universe of peace-loving, rights-regarding, compassionate, thinking people, across the United States and around the world, who reject every vile bullying, mocking, lying, despicable (the adjectives would be endless and even then not capture how disgraceful this was) word that the Trump/Vance tag-team spewed & shouted in the White House today.

I desperately thought that Donald Trump could not take the United States any lower in our world, but today he certainly found that place.

These are very dark and difficult times, and we must stand with Ukrainians, and Palestinians, and all peoples and every individual whose rights and dignity he seeks to demean and rip asunder.

We are called, friends, like never before. Justice. Resistance. Truth. Rights. Solidarity. Demand it, defend it and forge it at every turn.
