@ThornwolfArt I've been thinking of putting watermarks on my photos. I'm not sure how well one can really protect those. I'm sorry this has happened to you. The A.I. thing when it comes to art is frustrating. I don't want "generated" art. Why can't we maintain some standards in this world?
It's time for an autumn update. Well, it's not quite winter yet. I've been working on some updates behind the scenes. Here's the first post of what I hope to be several. It's been a busy time for outdoor exploration. The mountains are ever full of wonder. https://t.co/92UBFto1Pm
This was taken on my way back from a trip to Texas for my stepfather's memorial in February. I thought the cloud formation was rather interesting, so I pulled over to take some pics.
The view from Cheyenne Mountain Zoo on 12-28-21. I always love seeing Colorado Springs from the zoo as it's set on a mountainside. You can also see the chair lift that takes visitors over the zoo. The cool, clean winter air makes everything crisp & clear adding to the aesthetic.
One more photo of a Mexican wolf from Cheyenne Mountain Zoo. I think this is the last of those I have from that trip. Taken 12-28-21. I might have a photo or two of other animals, but the day didn't work out well. I've been trying to sift through and find the best to share.
The lighting was terrible in the Mexican wolf enclosure by the time I got there, but I took a ton of photos. This one might be worth sharing. Again, this is from 12-28-21 taken at Cheyenne Mountain Zoo. Who wants to say hi to the wolves? They're good fluffs.
Finally, a photo of something other than cougars. Well, it's not the clearest due to the overcast day and it being taken through glass. Still, I thought it worth sharing. The wolves are almost posing. To be specific, they're Mexican wolves at Cheyenne Mountain Zoo taken 12-28-21.
I'd almost missed this last cougar photo I wanted to share. Unfortunately, it's through the fence. This is the last of those taken 12-28-21 at Cheyenne Mountain Zoo. I'll have other animals now, but nothing was very active the day I was there, other than the cougars.
Here's one more photo of a cougar from Cheyenne Mountain Zoo, taken 12-28-21. I'll get to other animals soon. Bhutan is my favorite, the best snow leopard ever, but he wasn't feeling photogenic the day I was there. Better luck next time! This pic turned out rather nice though.
The young cougars at Cheyenne Mountain Zoo are so photogenic. It's a bit difficult to get photos to turn out through the glass, but I think this one came out alright. Taken 12-28-21. So regal. If only you could see them in action. Silly cats, springing all about!
Another from the series of photos of this cute cougar taken at Cheyenne Mountain Zoo on 12-28-21. I need to post a group of these all at once so I'm not spacing them out so much. Soon...
@ManiacalV@SmartlandInvest They never do snow removal where I live even though it's in the lease that they're supposed to. Landlords are like this. Sadly, I think I've gotten used to it.
@vanityfeline I think I found a pic of my cat as a kitten if you still want to see it. I had to dig back through just to find where I'd mentioned this. Before Christmas.
@vanityfeline You have adorable pets. The cat checking out those antlers is a perfect touch. Purrfect? Your dog might tolerate being dressed up, but he doesn't look too happy about it. I shall have to dig through my files to find a Christmasy photo of my cat when she was a kitten. I miss her.
@ManiacalV Yes, they have round pupils. Most smaller predators that are lower to the ground have vertical pupils, like foxes. There's something about gazing into their eyes that is like looking back in time, seeing something ancient, and having it stare back into your soul.
This was a photo taken further in the series of a young puma at Cheyenne Mountain Zoo during my December visit. This time curiosity is clear, instead of pure feline doof. The gaze these cats have always captures me. I want to get a closer photo of their eyes one day.
