With the Chairman of the 🇩🇪 Bundestag Committee on Foreign Affairs @ArminLaschet and the members of the committee @RKiesewetter, @Knut_Abraham, @StefanKeuterAfD, and @jschraps, we discussed Russia’s war of aggression against Ukraine, but also focused on the fact that Russia poses a threat far beyond Ukraine.

Through its hybrid activities and growing provocations, Russia is a threat to NATO Allies, and facing that challenge requires unity, vigilance, and a strengthened deterrence posture.

Russia launched 52 cruise and ballistic missiles alongside 653 Shahed attack drones in its latest air strikes on Ukraine overnight which largely targeted critical infrastructure. Numerous cities were hit including those in western Ukraine.
