@itsAntWright Soccer will never work here. 99% of the population sees it as a fun game to watch 5-year-old kids play before they move on to sports we actually care about (other than watching the World Cup every 4 years).
@JayChocolate70@harryjsisson Lol - watching you morons tie yourself in knots to explain away the clear video of people cheering and chanting USA, then thunderous boos the second he is shown on screen.
@MattMattMcMatt@davidshor Counterpoint: If you think that Pratt lost because of election fraud, as opposed to because he was running as a Republican in Los Angeles...you are a dummy.
@king_ofdior@scoknuts@mattyglesias Meanwhile, in reality, Stevens polls best against Rogers. El-Sayed is clearly the weakest candidate (and is also terrible).
@Andreiz112tt@PpollingNumbers Same issue with L.A. race. Why are we wasting all of this energy on whether Pratt makes the runoff? Who cares? He'll lose by 20+ points in general election anyway...
@AmericanHodl3r@mattyglesias This is nothing new. For decades, Presidential candidates have had to say one thing during the primary, then "pivot" for the general election. The only difference is that Republican voters don't seem to care.
