@discord_support I can interact with the Clyde AI in one of my 1:1 DMs: is it some kind of (unannounced?) feature test or a bug? If the former, where can I learn more about why only that DM was selected for the trial?
@dr_sicknellers Yes — and to support the Socratic method further: eliciting personal responses from students will likely amplify intrinsic motivation to engage — in addition to providing you with valuable feedback about how to personalize the curriculum.
@dr_sicknellers I find that Socratic exploration usually leads me to branches of interesting topics — especially when starting with a base question that’s existential or deeply skeptical. In this case: Why do we game?
@thomasreggi If it’s essentially instant to compute, do it on demand. If not, compute it on demand the first time and memoize it (unless you’re absolutely sure it’ll be needed and you also have idle time: then memoizing in advance might be worthwhile): only pay for what you use!
@dr_sicknellers I’m not sure if it was meant to be a nod when you first used it, but that tag always reminds me of this song:

@dr_sicknellers I don’t think it’s unreasonable to assume that many other apps (and websites) are collecting that kind of metadata: “if it’s possible, then there’s a likelihood that it’s happening.”
