It really does feel nice to ship a feature after spending almost two months on it. Especially when previous features were canned mid way through development.
@gekido@_jura_z_@kalobrien I remember discussing it and I was confused. Amongst the reasons I did not reapply after the lay off last year. I don’t know a single person that thought it was a good idea.
@sirashe_ I ended up doing network and online stuff due to an internship. I wasn’t able to get an internship in games and got one for a telecommunication company. Specialized in network and some online stuff from there. Still doing that but in games now.
@DefenceForceOrg Recruiters won’t look at your GitHub repo. The hiring manager and team members might and imo, they’ll like enjoy knowing someone has a vast array of knowledge. Also, what is professional and hobby? Unless you shipped an known open source project, it’s all hobby-ish!
I’m really happy of the time spent in Paris with my coworkers, but I am looking forward to be in my bed, my home, with my cat, dog and wife tomorrow. Hotel is fun, but I do miss my bed. Oh and making food instead of restaurant all the time.
See you soon Paris
