@HafizPikmin I think it’s the generation that’s first console was the Wii. They’re not used to Nintendo going for realism. The game looks like a Pixar movie and looks like it’s going for a fairytale even with the narrator reading from a fairytale book. It seems cohesive to me.
People are forcing the “hire this man” thing here, it looks like a Pixar movie which could absolutely work for the game. But it’s worrying they didn’t show more of the world.
Since i last played OoT on my 3ds in 2019, ive played the FromSoft catalogue, MGS 1-V, Discoelysium, and have become addicted to map games. But through it all Zelda means the most to me and this reminded me of that. For this I will indulge in the kkkonsumerist fanboy in my soul
it might take a while to get used to the artstyle but im so so glad theyre actually changing it up instead of just sticking to the botw style because thats what i was expecting
You guys realize the existence of this OOT remake implies the future existence of Majora's Mask, right? It will eventually happen, just as it did for 3DS
@ZeldaLoreYT My idea is that Zelda team has decided to really lean into the idea of each game being a “legend”, and talking in the past allowing for retelling of stories to diverge because they are lost to “time”. It will loosen up the Zelda timeline (sadly) but give more freedom
@valencia__oh It actually has me excited, I loved the narration and I hope they lean more into the fairytale/children's book aesthetic that the teaser gave and lean into Link being Peter Pan
@urbaneblob Maybe it's a rash Judgement but I feel like proponents of this have terminally-online-leftist-itus where it's treated kinda like a team sport rather than actually organizing
This becomes apparent especially when reading about cuba as it was one of the most direct manifestations of this continuity and exchange in how Cuba both inspired and contributed to revolutionary social movements throughout the world while also informing their counterrevolutions
Once again, the cold war, or the long cold war becomes a better classification when using it to describe the series of revolutions and corresponding counterrevolutions from 1910 on, which had continuity and exchange with each other, rather than just the US vs. USSR
