@mogpilled@NUCLRGOLF@TrackingRory@BobHarig There is zero competitive advantage. He played Augusta a few extra times, any other player could have as well. They all prepare differently, some guys don’t even want to play a course that often because they do most of their prep off the course.
@USPOTUS47@KySportsRadio The real sufferers of TDS are the people who create twitter accounts dedicated to him and spend their days defending everything he says no matter how crazy it is. Matt has both criticized Biden and even given Trump props a few times when he felt it was deserved.
@RemusCato@MrsTylerKSR So what, in 3 years he gets fired. He's 52 years old, has made more than enough money to never have to work again if he chose, and schools would still line up to hire him. Granted, that would all still be true had he stayed, it still seems like a no-lose situation to me.
@NUCLRGOLF I mean that putt was hammered, sure it continued to run out but it was still a good 6’ to 8’ past the hole before it really caught the slope.
@beltonebrad@BradOnMessage I’m from WV and it’s nice that we have adopted it, but the Blue Ridge mountains and the Shenandoah River are largely in western Virginia not West Virginia. There’s only a little sliver of both that passes through the far end of the eastern panhandle.
@micahpe1@WildcatUKx I would say it is a hyperlink to the teams page and this is only a snippet of the article. Kentucky and Louisville were probably already mentioned and hyperlinked higher up in the article and they only add the hyperlink to the first mention of each team.
@desmondatlantic@GoingParabolic Unfortunately for you, it is embedded and not wedged against the pin. a ball embedded in the lip it is considered holed if the entire ball is below the surface of the green. If any part of the ball is above the surface, you repair the ball mark and place the ball on the lip.
@TheStroker83@jturner1001@LouStagner That’s not at all true, scratch just means you play at a 0 handicap. Handicap is calculated using your 8 best scores from the previous 20. With a course rating of 75, player one could shoot 8 75s and 12 rounds in the 80s and still have a 0.0 handicap.
@ScottFriedman3@CBS@TheMasters It was deleted because the community notes pointed out there was absolutely no evidence this happened, nor is there a world where the CBS camera guys are getting any extra tickets.
@Kn1ghtime@Mike_kim714 1) He came up like 4 times and it’s getting twisted into being up here everyday for 3 weeks. 2) you’re commenting on the post of a player saying he feels like he can prepare better at home. Everyone is different, but you aren’t going to find any players agreeing with you.
@Kn1ghtime@Mike_kim714 I would venture to guess no one in the field played all 3 weeks before. They qualified for the masters, maybe they can’t take a private jet for the day, but to earn their spot they’ve all had more than enough success over the past year to afford a trip.
@Kn1ghtime@Mike_kim714 I’m not saying Rory is wrong to say it helped him, but claiming preparation is “unfair” is wrong. All these guys prepare in their own ways. Some like to play the week before, some like to get in early and play a lot, some only play 9 holes a day just to see the course.
@Kn1ghtime@Mike_kim714 No more than they existed in anyone else’s practice round, as in, the masters is unique in that traditional pin placements exist but are also not guaranteed. As a former collegiate golfer, you’ll never convince me anyone who has played competitively believes this is an issue.
@Kn1ghtime@Mike_kim714 It’s not at all the same spirit as that rule which is in regards to practicing on the course the same day as a competition… where you could play in similar conditions, same pin placements, etc. by your definition of the spirit of the rule, practice rounds wouldn’t exist.
