@JulissaMuniz13 Going to the grocery store and not worrying about whether or not I have enough money to pay for everything. When I was a kid I’d see my parents return things because they didn’t have enough money to pay for everything.
@Lethain@whereistanya Definitely something to be proud of. The ability to put into words what we go through but struggle to help convey to others for their own path is much appreciated. The archetypes are extremely relevant and helpful!
@skamille @Paul_IPv6 Daring Greatly by Brene Brown seems to touch on this maybe? If not just pure pain of imperfection then at least scarcity and the feelings of never enough?
@f_0_fffffffffff @caitie@BreneBrown Our team did a book club on thanks for the feedback, and I would highly recommend it. These books have been as equally helpful for my life as for work.
@f_0_fffffffffff @caitie Most of these are just as applicable to IC imo. Even if you don't want to lead other people you still have to learn to influence and work for people who have to lead people. Switch, atomic habits for sure. @BreneBrown is amazing so if not dare to lead pickup daring greatly.
@gwenshap I think for me the goals are the same as before, constantly learning and refining my skills. It just becomes harder to both define and measure what that means. The last couple years it's been read a lot. Lately more identify what's uncomfortable and then lean into that.
@skamille@gwenshap This is a good one and one I should also set for myself. I often try to get my team to do this stuff and then don’t follow my own advice, sending mixed signals.
@skamille@gwenshap I was trying to think about my own answer to this question and almost all my answers were about helping others achieve their success. Are there goals you set to ensure you are giving your best self to others?
@skamille@gwenshap When broke personal to a separate category did that mean outside of work? Are there things at work that are explicitly for you? Or I guess all growth is mainly accomplished by focusing on others more?

@stevemagness Karma. Had this thought pop into my head as I was out running. Passed a gentleman asked him how his day was going and he said was trying to get over the game. Thought to myself well maybe if y'all wouldn't have cut your running programs.
