A few months back, I published this guide on how to remember everything you read.
Re-sharing it here for anyone who finds these protocols useful.

There are several distractions out there. Every single day, something is competing for your attention — social media, other people’s achievements, noise, trends, fear, and comparison.
If you are not careful, you will spend your time reacting instead of building.
Distraction is subtle. It doesn’t look dangerous. It looks entertaining. It looks urgent. It looks important. But most of the time, it is simply pulling you away from your purpose.
You cannot win scholarships, build your career, or change your life if your focus is scattered.
The people who win are not always the smartest. They are often the most focused.
This week, protect your time.
Protect your energy.
Protect your goals.
Say no to what doesn’t align.
Say yes to what moves you forward.
Stay consistent. Stay disciplined. Stay locked in.
Your breakthrough requires your attention.
Some of my friends on here know my mum is battling cancer for the second time in her life, and honestly, it’s been a crazy, painful fight for a while now.
I got really pissed at my dad over how he’s been handling things with his wife. Even though deep down I understand he’s trying to respect her wishes, she’s tired of the hospital runs, the sympathy from everyone, the constant pain, and feeling like she’s becoming a burden to us… I still let my emotions take over. I stopped talking to my dad for a whole week after my trip from India.
Last night I listened to this song and… man, I fvcking broke down. I cried like a baby. Yes, a full grown man, tears everywhere, no shame at all.
I picked up my phone immediately and called him to apologize.
Funny thing is, he didn’t even care about the apology. What mattered to him was how I was doing… how my family is… how his grandkids are doing. Then he told me he wants me to be stronger and better than him in all ramifications. Fear gripped me again and ask how mum was and i spoke to her.
I can’t even lie, in that moment I felt a strange relief and peace settle in my chest.
So please, if you still have your parents, no matter how complicated things have been, pick up that phone and call them. Tell them you love them. Tell them you appreciate them.
Because one day… the memories you’re making now are the ones you’ll be holding onto when they’re gone. 🤍💜❤️
The beautiful moment a lady gave her first NYSC allowance of 77,000 Naira to her father as first fruit. The father removed 10% from it, gave the remaining back to her and also prayed 🙏 for her.
