@jbarro In many places (especially larger cities/suburbs), your kid can't make the school team if they haven't played club -- competition is too stiff. And as far as our family is concerned, it's not at all about D1 but much more about the health and social benefits of team sports.
Happening now: a panel with NSC's @jskochan@msilbey alongside Joshua Weaver on the benefits of the OTA consortia model and the challenges and opportunities surrounding acquisition reform.
Next up, Joshua Weaver, Director of Spectrum Initiatives & Analysis, discusses @DoWCTO's latest projects and priorities, including the Advanced Spectrum Coexistence demonstration.
Excited to welcome our members and government partners to our All-Member Meeting! CEO @jskochan is kicking us off with an overview of what we've accomplished and what's ahead in 2026.
Looking forward to seeing our members and government partners at next week’s All-Member Meeting on May 14, co-located with the @ComSoc DySPAN Conference.
📌 Registration closes on May 8: https://t.co/IZtBTRqw3R
@moseskagan Agree. But we have to also fight it at the other end. Front running the news on Polymarket with inside info is toxic and leads to other immoral opinions and actions such as these. Gotta set the example from the top where it's obvious and noticeable and public.
In collaboration with @DoWCTO, a Request for Prototype Proposals with the Nuclear Command, Control, and Communications Technology Accelerator is now available to NSC members.

Couldn't agree more @thejoekane ! We should be using the SRF better, making it more flexible, and prototyping new spectrum sharing/coexistence technology. The @NSConsortium is ready to help with that goal.
Good news from @ArielleRothNTIA that 2.7 GHz on the way to greater commercial use.
Also a great example of how investments in new technology can enhance federal capabilities while also opening up more commercial capacity.
@moseskagan@rogerfields120@mattyglesias I think it's pretty settled. Not sure any campaign, no matter how good, will elect an R in CA in a head-to-head matchup with any D right now.
Congratulations to NSC member ANDRO Computational Solutions, selected as one of the key partners in a $7.4 million Advanced Spectrum Coexistence award to demonstrate millisecond-level spectrum sensing.

Congratulations to the Kostas Research Institute @Northeastern for a $7.4M award from NSC and @DeptofWar under the Advanced Spectrum Coexistence demonstration to develop #spectrum sharing technology relying on millisecond level spectrum sensing. 🏆 https://t.co/dgM6uqdUGk
The new US-backed OCUDU open-source initiative is targeting vendor-controlled RAN stacks, aiming to accelerate innovation and reduce duplication. The OCUDU project promotes a software-defined, multi-vendor architecture with AI integration, challenging proprietary ecosystems and reshaping 5G and future 6G development. https://t.co/f0lHR4gVlj
Thanks to NSC’s diverse membership, the OCUDU Ecosystem Foundation will successfully leverage solutions developed by industry and academia to build an open software stack for 5G & 6G.
