For the last two years, I've been collecting design portfolios for inspiration across brand, UI/UX, motion, and illustration.
I thought I'd share them to help others struggling to put together their own.
So here it is, a design portfolio inspiration (mega) thread 🧵:
@Jermainecraig It's come under scrutiny before, but it's better than charities being opaque about how much they scrape from each donation to fund CEO salaries etc.
@Jermainecraig I've always liked the model of 90/10. £1 of each £10 monthly donation goes transparently to operation. But operation is 0% profit and subscribers get something in return - like content.
@levelsio@jijosunny@JamesIvings@charlierward Yeah tbf as I said I'm a cynic, but more of the UK policy-wise.
Plus I'm looking to move, but to a more expensive city (Copenhagen) 😅
"Nice playground for the superrich!" - this will be our country slogan by 2030
@levelsio@jijosunny@JamesIvings@charlierward Your original message said "if you can spend $10,000/mo+"
Earn vs spend are very different things.
$6k is higher than any salary I've ever earned here and I live well. Mortgage on a flat in zone 2, rent an office, out multiple times a week, holiday 5+ times a year
@Wozza777@mikedotsullivan I'd say plumbing is much more binary. my water either gets hot or it doesn't. the quality of a logo is a spectrum of subjectivity
