BREAKING: Biden's Justice Department racks up a massive win by arresting a top Mexican drug cartel leader who faked his own death and has been living in California under a fake name.

"The Jalisco Cartel — one of the world’s most violent and prolific drug trafficking organizations — is weaker today because of the tenacious efforts of law enforcement to track down and arrest a cartel leader who allegedly faked his own death and assumed a false identity to evade justice and live a life of luxury in California," said Deputy Attorney General Lisa Monaco.

Cristian Fernando Gutierrez-Ochoa, the cartel figure in question, is a member of the incredibly violent Cártel de Jalisco Nueva Generación and is the son-in-law of the organization's leader El Mencho.

He was living in a luxury apartment in Riverside, California and was arrested earlier this month. He has been charged with international drug trafficking as well as money laundering.

According to prosecutors, Gutierrez-Ochoa masterminded the transportation and distribution of some 40,000 kilograms of meth and 2,000 kilograms of cocaine into the United States. He also allegedly kidnapped members of the Mexican Navy.

This is the crucial work that the Department of Justice does. Meanwhile, Donald Trump wanted to put an alleged child sex trafficker in charge of it — and will likely select someone even worse now that Matt Gaetz has withdrawn.

The woman who Pete Hegseth paid off “went to a hospital and reported a sexual assault on October 12, where she underwent a rape kit exam and gave the clothes she was wearing on the night of the alleged assault to police. A nurse at the hospital first reported the alleged assault to authorities” according to CNN who reviewed the 22 page police report from the incident.

Seems like pretty solid allegations.
