What Could Happen to $ITLG Mining After Open Mainnet?

Some community members have been wondering how the halving mechanism and the remaining unmined $ITLG supply may work once Open Mainnet launches in 2027 and mobile mining comes to an end.

As explained previously, the halving process is based on the total amount of $ITLG mined:

🔹 First 30B $ITLG → Halving 1
🔹 Next 15B $ITLG → Halving 2
🔹 Next 7.5B $ITLG → Halving 3
🔹 Next 3.75B $ITLG → Halving 4
🔹 And so on...

Since the halving is connected to the amount of $ITLG that has already been mined, the end of free mobile mining would likely mean that a new earning mechanism will be needed for the remaining supply.

This could potentially include activities such as completing ecosystem tasks, participating as a validator, contributing infrastructure, or other network-related activities.

In other words, after Open Mainnet, earning $ITLG may no longer be as easy as simply tapping a mining button every day.

So, make the most of the current free mobile mining phase while it lasts. Once the network enters its next stage, acquiring additional $ITLG could require more active participation, technical contribution, or even dedicated hardware infrastructure.

The mining phase we have today may not last forever — use the opportunity while it’s available.
