Come at me, but I wish as many people were pushing as earnestly for classroom libraries and access to books for students and their families as they do sports programs. You know who pushes for these? Readers. We always have. And we always will.

Time should be spent now on figuring out how to deliver books regularly to homes, get kids on WiFi w/ a device, get math manipulatives and art supplies out. In person school is going to be short-lived (if it happens at all) and might even be worse than remote instruction.
