The UK government calls it “civil disorder.”
By “civil disorder” they mean a race pogrom they refuse to name
5 men used all their body weight to restraint one black man. As he was faced down, one continuously pressed his knee on his neck until he stopped breathing.
Happened in Dublin, Ireland. They’re under every post laughing and calling it the Irish George Floyd. Rest in Peace Yves Sakila.
For those of us who are Black in the UK, this was absolutely predictable.
This country is a right wing white supremacist nation at heart.
And let me stir the pot, all the three parties with large seat numbers are overtly racist. It is not 1 in 2, it is 75%.
I don't care what your political Leaning is, If you're out here defending a Politicians right to be paid a £100,000 a year, to get pissed on Subsidised Cocktails before going to Vote against your interests & rights, you are the epitome of a back broken, peasant-brained Serf.

I think the unspoken layer here (BW x hair) is that a lot of these conversations are being driven by women who had to arrive at loving their hair, and because of that, they treat that arrival like a moral position instead of a personal journey.
So now there’s a hierarchy.
