It would be better to get one that goes to a higher value. 400Nm is about 300 ft.lbs That 3/4" drive #TorqueWrench is too small.
A properly sized one should go to at least 500 ft.lbs which is 677Nm of course dual scale so you can do Metric and SAE
#ThreadedRods4Beginners
My fuckup was that I became complacent, because I normally follow a checklist. However a drill is not a firearm so I dropped the checks.
#ThreadedRods4Beginners
I can cut axles of regular bikes easily with overtorque using just a #Bacho adjusable wrech so the drill motor had no chance of kicking back.
I can stop the motor even with a bare hand. Point is that with the #EN388 gloves I was 100% protected
#ThreadedRods4Beginners
Do not fuck around with your #PPE I use #3M@3M#Tekk11329 glasses cotton shirt. Jacket protective pants and shoes #EN388 gloves when I tigthen /loosen my fastners & threaded rods. Be esp carefull for anything passed 80 Nm. Loosen with a #BreakerBar
#ThreadedRods4Beginners
The feeling is undescribable when you finally torque a faster up to 200Nm and break it away with smooth ease, with your #BreakerBar
