@WARDOGS@Tomato_Gaming NOBODY buys ammo unless you have air-defence builded. Someone always builds a defence around the closest tower and mobile respawn point always will stay there. Nobody buys medical supplies or grenades, or anything. The casuality of players leads to logi being useless after 10mins
@PowerGPU@WARDOGS@BULKHEAD Yes, and with pc's of many other players, according to discord. Optimization doesn't means fixing only those bugs, which ocurr for everyone
@UncSupply Same, itt was fun until people inlocked tanks. Further will be worse. And solo you can only kill enemy infantry or/and be a medic. Everything else isn't working solo. Also "casuality" creates very big disbalance in teams, because 1 party from SQUAD can win whole game.
@SilkOCE also the big concern for me is how the game will feels when most of the players will unlock tanks and attack helis, because in this beta i believe i didn't saw a little bird with miniguns on the first evening
@SilkOCE 1) game has bad progression system
2) the success will be decided on start of early access, because 2.5 days isn't enough to test depth of the game, especially with all the hype from media giants
Hot Take: this isnt necessarily a Cache problem but a byproduct of an issue CS has had for years.
People want fast queues and to not overly think about the game so the simpler maps: Mirage, D2, even Inferno, get played more because weve been playing them for decades and decades.
Specialist maps like Nuke and Overpass struggle because it requires more effort to play compared to the above
Newer maps get played less because players dont want to learn new things
All of this combines with Valve only picking the least played maps every Prem season to create a system where the newest map will ALWAYS be the least played one.
Train, Overpass, and now Cache. All fine maps to play but because they are the newest in the pool Pro teams largely prefer to let it sit as their ban and all the soloQ players in Prem would just prefer to keep playing Mirage over and over.
