Byram is good, but not nearly worth 10 Million. Hes our 4th best defenseman and if you can get an elite (and cheapish) player for him you do it 10/10 times.
Can’t go back to back years losing Tuch and Byram to free agency
If you can turn Byram into your Tuch replacement and then get a guy like Spence to replace Byram I think you’re cooking
Was horrible in 2nd round but good first. Wish he would take a reasonable contract but if you can move him for Knies, 1000%. Also gives Power (the better of the 2) more time on PP
Multiple teams exploring a trade with the Buffalo Sabres involving Dman, Bo Byram. Byram has 1 yr left on his contract before becoming an unrestricted Free Agent. Agent, Darren Ferris has some history with marching players to the open market. Motivation for trade consideration.
@HockeyWays@Jdubs_44 The Sabres moved up 7 spots to give up a guy who wouldn’t sign as an RFA and was there 8th defenseman. The idea of Kesslering is 10x better than the actual player

Would be a HR in 23/30 ballparks! Result: Double
Finally developing prospects and both having sever injuries is so unfortunate. Every single one of Painters pitches have regressed. He needs to fix his mechanics badly
I came to conclusion that Owen Tippett should be the number 1 target to replace Tuch.
I also think Jarmo should be fully open to the idea of using Byram to get that deal done.
Frankly, a 1 for 1 makes sense for both teams.
The Phillies were listed as a potetional “best fit” for some big name trade deadline targets:
OF Byron Buxton
LHP Aroldis Chapman
OF Taylor Ward
OF Seiya Suzuki
3B Matt Chapman
OF Jo Adell
OF Jarren Duran
What are your thoughts and who do you want from this list❓
@SamWinchester90@BayAreaEmo I agree he’s great, but those type of contracts are hard to move. And idk if SF is gonna wanna eat it to get a better return. I think they would rather clear their decks
@DavidEsser_ People are mad that we have a “Hall of Fame” GM that is horrible, not this exact situation. Middleton gave him Top 5 money and he fucked up everything he touched, still has a terrible farm and has only made one good trade. Needs to go
The Giants are open to offers for their three highest-paid position players — Rafael Devers, Willy Adames, Matt Chapman — among other obvious trade candidates, like Luis Arraez and Robbie Ray.
