The next Steel Wool Studios Five Nights at Freddy’s game is being made in Unreal Engine 5 according to a job posting from Steel Wool looking for a Senior Gameplay Engineer that knows how to use Unreal Engine 5. It was posted in September 2025. All previous games were made in UE4.
