Dispatch Team Leader and Staff Responder for South Western Ambulance Service π Area Event Lead and Emergency Ambulance Crew for St John Ambulance π¨
Last week I had the amazing experience of attending Buckingham Palace to receive my Sovereign's Award signed by Queen Elizabeth II, presented by The Princess Royal.
Thank you again to everyone who has supported my journey with @stjohnambulance.

A few days late, but last week it was an honour to take part in the memorial service for Roger Cook. He was a mentor, a pillar of the community, a great friend.
It was also an honour to be a pallbearer at his funeral in early September.
Thank you for everything, Roger.
RIP π
Please think carefully before calling 999 so we can help those most in need. ππ¨
We must have crews available for the most life-threatening conditions and we will be prioritising these patients first. π

As celebrations for #InternationalControlRoomWeek come to an end, we want to say thank you to our dedicated teams who work in #TeamSWASFT's Emergency Operations Centres. π
They're the first point of contact and are on hand, making a difference to patients' lives every day! π
Remember the clocks go back tonight! π
This doesnβt just mean an extra hour in bed, but darker evenings as well.
If youβre waiting for an ambulance and itβs dark #HelpUsToHelpYou by β
π‘ Turning on as many lights as you can
π Asking somebody to go outside and flag us down
Until you have seen a dispatcher in action, you have not seen a multi-tasking genius! These incredible humans can coordinate an unbelievable number of resources, they retain an incredible amount of information, & they make decisions every day that save lives. #ControlRoomWeek
Weβre celebrating International Control Room Week! π§ π» π

I'm doing a thing! In an effort to get fit I am challenging myself to work out 5 times a week for a year with events along the way. Next weekend is the @skylineevnts London to Brighton cycle and I also hope to raise Β£500 for @stjohnambulance JustGiving: https://t.co/OsZE7HSGXq
For the first time in my 14+ years with SJA, I'm travelling out of Devon & Cornwall to cover an event π₯³
Off to support @centralswsja with this year's @bristolballoon fiesta! Definitely excited to work in a different environment with some different people π

After spending a single night at home following @RivieraAirshow, I'm about to start my journey down to Wadebridge to set-up for @RoyalCornwall!
Just enough time to wash and dry my uniform it seems!
#MySJADay
Great day out supporting the @RivieraAirshow today - Definitely a busy one, but the team were great as always!
Time to rest up and do it all again tomorrow π΄π₯³

And thatβs a wrap on day one at the #englishrivieraairshow βοΈπβ€οΈ
What a scorcher! The mighty @rafredarrows gave a phenomenal show as always and what a brilliant surprise to see the Lancaster closing the show with its display.
It was great to visit City of Exeter Cadet unit this evening, talking about @StJADevonEvents and the events function as a whole. Some great questions and hopefully some more interest from them for our upcoming events across the district!
