@baldrambo@jollyranchrbaby No one called anyone the problem for recognisinv AI, or said ppl aren't allowed to call it out. What the artist is asking is for ppl to investigate before throwing in an accusation, and not to dismiss their hardwork based on a stereotype.
FYI, AI detected a paragraph from Mary Shelly's Frankenstein as 100% AI. So, write however tf you want and ignore the accisations, the readers will be able to recognise what a writer poured their soul into vs what was written by a word spitting machine.
Fuck AI but also fuck avoiding writing styles for the sake of avoiding an accusation. Write however you write. Don’t use AI. The rest is just screaming into the void.
@baldrambo is inconsistent, it gets emotions wrong, either exaggerating them or under reacting. Those AI accusations should be based off of our human experience, not vocab and punctuation, and writing styles (even those are used differnetly by AI and humans).
@baldrambo inveatigating the integrity of a certain work, they would actually ask curiously, there is a difference between that and just going around accusing every piece of fiction as AI because of certain vocab and punctuatiob w/o listening to the writer. AI +
@LFrench_Author Some of the ppl in my cirlcle don't get my frustration with AI too, and now we're at a point where creators are afraid to create because of it.
@baldrambo I did not say don't call out AI slop, I said don't be afraid to write in a certain way (the way a writer has always written the way they love to write) cause you're scared it'd be marked as AI slop.
@baldrambo Readers who don't recognise it haven't read enough, which I am not saying as something to be held against them, they could ne new to reading or haven't seen different writting styles yet. Also...
I love it when I pass by the mirror, go back, then think "wow I am gorgeous" or feel really pretty, and feel reassured that every bad thought was just in my head.
