Dan is an Australian citizen. He has lived in Australia since 2002 and became an Australian citizen in 2012.
There are no Australian charges against him. The extradition charge is completely flawed.
He took a job in South Africa in 2012 and worked a mere 18 hours training civilian test pilots. He reported all his earnings to the ATO.
Why would the Australian government send an Australian citizen to be at the mercy of a foreign government?

77% of AFL player managers say footballers’ gambling is problem.
We must end the toxic entanglement of gambling and sport, and call out the harmful practices gambling companies use to target vulnerable people. #auspol#gamblingreform https://t.co/V9jKyNtAup
@FreeDanDuggan This woman makes one proud to be Australian.
We have forgotten how we were once a community who stood shoulder to shoulder against the odds, both from nature and oppressors.
I dips me lid Madam 🫡
Blow after blow, yet this family has stood together, time and time again.
Saffrine has been the pillar at the forefront of it all, holding this family together.
She will not give up until Dan is brought home.
Please help by donating to relieve a bit of the financial burden that the family has accumulated after this 3.5 year battle: https://t.co/93c15Gd7FL
Dan is an Australian citizen.
He is a father to 6 Australian children.
His wife is Australian.
Dan has been living in Australia since 2002, and a citizen since 2012.
He has no Australian charges against him.
He's never been convicted of a crime.
He took a job as a trainer at a top flying school in South Africa in 2012, where he spent about 18 hours training civilian pilots.
Dan is being used as a pawn in a geopolitical war.
He is being made an example of ... and his family is suffering.
And Dan's incarceration shows us how Australia has lost its sovereignty.

Australia! We’re headed over for the Red Sunset Tour tomorrow. Haven’t been to Perth or Canberra in ages. It’s been fun playing with Silicon every night too.
Melbourne, Brisbane and Sydney this week!
See you there. Photos by Aileen Chen.

This is heartbreaking.
"Dr. Hossam’s lawyer warns: his heart is exhausted, his body shattered from continuous torture, and the freezing temperatures in his cell are worsening his suffering.
Between cold walls, the doctor who saved hundreds of children and the wounded is left with no adequate food, no heating, and his health is deteriorating day by day.
🔴 Every moment of silence is a contribution to his suffering.
Any delay in saving him could be the moment that costs him his life.
✊🏻 Speak about him… spread his name… do not let the voice of the doctor who saved lives fade away."

The reach extends far beyond govt. Palantir & Coles have teamed up to use 120,000 employees worth of data, Rio Tinto has renewed its multi-year contract too. This foreign surveillance company is embedded across Australia's critical infrastructure - public and private.
We are calling for an immediate freeze on Government contracts with Palantir in Australia. Then full transparency on what data is collected, how it is used and by whom, because their conduct is almost certainly in breach of Australia's privacy laws and core democratic value.
This month alone, 85,000 Congolese refugees fled violence to Burundi. Another 500,000 were displaced in the Dem Rep of Congo.
Neither country has the resources to cope.
Pending progress in peace talks, aid agencies need urgent funding to save lives and avert a deadly emergency.
So excited to see news of @bicrunga tour next year. I have my sleeping bag ready for the overnight queue… oh wait, there’s the internet. I’ll just camp out in my loungeroom until Nov 25 when tickets go on sale!
Dan Duggan is an Australian citizen who broke no Australian law. He worked a short contract as a part time flight instructor at a renowned flight school in South Africa. He taught a few sessions in a 1960s aircraft. No-one else has been prosecuted or charged.
He has been locked up for over 3 years in a maximum security prison. He spent 19 months in solitary confinement.
The US want him extradited, despite not being a US citizen. They have frozen the sale of his property.
The Australian government has allowed this to happen.
The Duggans have appealed his extradition approval at the Federal Court at great financial expense.

No-one ever asked for less transparency in government.
Today I called on the Parliament to improve its standards - to enforce a stronger Code of Conduct for all lobbyists, to open ministerial diaries, and close the revolving door between industry and public sector jobs.
