Fantastic to see the competition of the Town Deal-backed @CanalRiverTrust project to improve 2km of Loughborough Canal towpath.

£885,000 of funding has helped make the towpath more accessible and suitable all year round for users.

This week’s tower is part of the Clifford & Kington district. The church of St Mary the Virgin is in the pretty black & white village of Eardisland.

The tower houses a fine ring of 8 bells that were cast in 1953 by @JTBellfoundry the tenor is just over (1/2)
