Levelling the Playing Field: Accountability for All Schools

Public schools in Alberta are governed by locally elected school boards, ensuring transparency, equity, and fiscal responsibility. They follow strict reporting and accountability standards to serve students and communities fairly.

Private and charter schools, despite receiving provincial funding, operate under different governance structures. Private and Charter schools are managed by independent boards, limiting public oversight, and are often exempt from the same transparency and reporting requirements as public schools.

If taxpayer dollars fund a school, it should meet the same high standards of governance, oversight, and accountability. It’s time to level the playing field so that every student in Alberta benefits from a fair and equitable education system.

We’re ready to share our expertise and experience from the front lines of K-12 education to level the playing field for public school students.

@JHunterChron I am happy for the club to get the extra cash but I wish the club would look at refunding (or allow us to see it) international fans who subscribe to SAFCSEE as every time the game in on SKY we are blocked and can’t see the game. We still get audio but it is not the same.
