Son Heung-min has played more matches (333), scored more goals (127) and provided more assists (71) than any other Asian player in Premier League history.

The South Korean has been a figure of consistent brilliance over 10 seasons at Tottenham Hotspur. In that period, no player has featured in more Premier League matches than Son.

Individual honours have followed the electric No 7 throughout his time in England, including 1x Golden Boot, 4x Player of the Month, and who could forget *that* solo run v Burnley in December 2019 that not only won the Goal of the Season, but also the Puskas Award.

However, it was not until May 2025 that Son finally felt emboldened to rank himself among Spurs’ greatest players.

For all of the club's domestic difficulties in the 2024/25 season, they found solace in Europe, securing a Europa League final berth against Manchester United.

A 1-0 victory ended the club’s 17-year wait for major silverware, with Son Heung-min lifting the trophy as captain.

In what may be the last competitive match of his Spurs career, he declared: “I am a legend of this club.”
