“RAG is dead” is a bold take.
But RAG solves a different problem than fine-tuning.
RAG gives models access to external, up-to-date information.
Fine-tuning adapts a model's behavior and responses.
Sometimes, combining both makes the most sense.
The goal isn't to pick the trendiest technique.
It's to choose the right architecture for the problem.

Still using Chrome? Here are 3 alternatives worth trying:
Firefox — Privacy and customization.
Brave — Built-in ad and tracker blocking.
Microsoft Edge — Useful productivity features.
The best browser depends on what you value most: privacy, performance, or convenience.
Which browser are you using, and why?

Everyone talks about Claude and ChatGPT for coding, but Gemini deserves a fair shot too.
The real test isn't which model has the loudest fanbase. It's which one can:
Understand an existing codebase
Debug tricky issues
Write reliable tests
Help you ship working software
Don't follow the hype. Test them on your actual workflow.

SQL interview tip: knowing the order of execution matters.
The problem is:
HAVING total_spent > 1000
In many SQL dialects, the HAVING clause can't reference the total_spent alias defined in SELECT.
Use:
HAVING SUM(amount) > 1000
One more thing: the query selects customer_id and an aggregate, so GROUP BY customer_id is correct.
Small SQL details can make a big difference in interviews.

The interesting part isn't that Postman is worth billions. It's how it evolved.
It started as a tool developers used to test APIs.
But API development at scale means much more than sending requests:
Automated testing
Documentation
Team collaboration
API lifecycle management
The biggest tech businesses often grow by solving a small problem, then becoming part of the entire workflow.
That's the real lesson here.

“Why should we hire you when AI can already write code?”
Because writing code is only one part of software engineering.
Understanding the actual problem
Making architectural decisions
Debugging what AI gets wrong
Ensuring security and reliability
Owning the result in production
AI can make developers faster.
But someone still has to know whether the solution is actually right.
The advantage isn't competing with AI. It's knowing how to use it well.

Thousands of simultaneous connections? My first pick would be Go.
Here's why:
Lightweight concurrency with goroutines
Good performance under high load
Simple deployment
A strong ecosystem for backend services
But here's the catch: your language won't save a poorly designed system.
Connection pooling, database queries, load balancing, and backpressure can make or break your API.
Choose the language that fits the workload—and design for scale.

Technology at its best isn't just impressive. It saves lives.
Google's Android Earthquake Alerts System has sent over 1 billion alerts since 2021, and it's expanding to more countries and regions.
A few seconds of warning can make a real difference:
Get alerted
Find cover
Protect yourself
This is a powerful example of technology serving humanity.
The best innovation isn't always the flashiest.
Sometimes, it's the one that helps people survive.

Since launching in 2021, our Android Earthquake Alerts System has sent 1B+ alerts. Now we’re expanding the system from 98 to nearly 200 countries and regions.
Proud how this technology can help in moments that really matter. As one example, when the devastating earthquakes hit Venezuela this year, millions of people outside the epicenter got alerts and could take cover before the shaking began.

@sundarpichai This is what technology should be about: solving real-world problems. Getting alerts before the shaking begins can give people precious seconds to take cover.
Expanding access to more countries is a meaningful step forward.

@dark_coderz I'd lean toward Go for this use case. Great concurrency support, lightweight deployment, and a strong ecosystem for building high-throughput APIs. But architecture, database bottlenecks, and connection pooling matter just as much as language choice.

@Denche2005 Because Claude Code can write code, but it can't replace ownership. Someone still needs to understand the requirements, make architectural decisions, verify the output, debug failures, and take responsibility for what ships.

@ayesha_fatiima Because Postman isn't just an API testing tool anymore. Teams use it for collaboration, automated testing, API documentation, and managing the entire API lifecycle. That's where the business value comes in.

@Careerbuddha111 The issue is HAVING total_spent > 1000 — in standard SQL, you generally can't reference a SELECT alias in HAVING. Use HAVING SUM(amount) > 1000 instead.

@Officially_Dev_ I think more people are using it than you realize. The real question is how it performs on complex, real-world coding tasks compared to Claude and ChatGPT. Have you tested it on a full project?
