If you believe free speech is for you but not your political opponents, you're illiberal.
If no contrary evidence could change your beliefs, you're a fundamentalist.
If you believe the state should punish those with contrary views, you're a totalitarian.
If you believe political opponents should be punished with violence or death, you're a terrorist.
If you can’t believe all the coverage & think Charlie is irrelevant to UK…
How come you yourself in the circa 24 hours since he died, have reposted at least 18 posts criticising his views & have been on radio criticising them too?
Perhaps what you really mean is that you can’t believe the ‘positive’ or non critical coverage of him, given he’s someone you dislike/disagree with…🤯

Sadiq Khan is an absolute disgrace. His head should have rolled for this — but instead, he was knighted.
This is one of the reasons why the exploitation of children has escalated the way it has: because weak, pathetic cowards like Khan are in power.
We, as survivors of exploitation, deserve better. The people of London deserve better. The people of the United Kingdom deserve better.
Get him out of office!
Last night 4 young women spoke on Newsnight about not only their abuse but also their treatment by the police over a period of more than 20 years. They did incredibly well!
Jade and Chantelle are being/have been supported by The Maggie Oliver Foundation for several years now, and in that time have gone from feeling unwarranted shame, guilt, embarrassment etc to having the strength to hold their heads high, KNOWING they’ve been monumentally failed as children. And it’s abhorrent.
But theirs are not stories of the past, they are still being let down today. Chantelle has been yet again supporting Greater Manchester Police Op Greenjacket for SIX YEARS!!!!!! And is being manipulated I’m afraid and also has been repeatedly lied to which is causing her immense trauma. Despite numerous video interviews and identifying her abusers about 3 years ago, she is still waiting for her file to go to the Crown Prosecution Service for a charging decision. She was told last year it had been sent - she found out on Friday it still hasn’t.
We are supporting Jade in her fight to have her conviction for inciting sexual activity with a child overturned. At 15 she was being repeatedly raped, nothing done to protect her even though she was recognised as being abused, two weeks later just after turning 16 she then incredibly became a “paedophile” and an easy target! Much easier to ignore all the hundreds of man raping and exploiting her since 14, easier to just charge one kid instead. Horrendous legal advice telling her to plead guilty as it was easier and they got paid the same fee anyway, if she pleaded or they had to fight a long battle to defend her! So they threw her to the wolves as well!!!. Tried in an adult court. Alongside her abusers. Sent to prison!
We are supporting Jade and fighting to get her conviction overturned. Because of that horrific advice it won’t be easy, but we are beside her all the way.
So please sign the petition she has created - it helps her to know the public recognise how horrifically she’s been failed. Link in the first comment under the post…. Let’s endure jade can at least go on a school trip with her kids, something she can’t even do because officially she’s still classed as a “paedophile”.
When in fact all she was was a little girl being raped who nobody could be bothered to protect!
And that’s why I’m involved in #TheyKnew - because SOMEONE is responsible for destroying Jades life. And yet noone has ever been held accountable. Again!

When the pub dies, more goes with it than just a pint.
I saw an interview with AJ Tracey the other day and it hit the nail on the head.
Pubs are part of British culture. They’re where people meet. Where ideas are shared. Where strangers debate politics, sport, life. Where worldviews get challenged, rightly so, all over a pint.
But now? £7 pints at a push. Hundreds of closures. Fewer places to gather. Less cross-generational conversation. More isolation. More echo chambers.
If people aren’t meeting, they’re not talking. If they’re not talking, they’re not listening. And that, long term, leads to narrower thinking and a more divided society.
Reviving the pub isn’t about nostalgia. It’s about rebuilding our social fabric.
Dear Lucy Powell MP,
You think child rape is a “dog whistle”?
Well, I was sexually abused from 5 years old.
And it’s politicians like 𝙮𝙤𝙪 that are the reason little girls like me are still being raped, exploited and murdered across the country.
In my hometown, those in power dismissed victims as 𝙩𝙧𝙤𝙪𝙗𝙡𝙚𝙢𝙖𝙠𝙚𝙧𝙨, 𝙥𝙖𝙠𝙞 𝙨𝙝𝙖𝙜𝙜𝙚𝙧𝙨 and 𝙬𝙝𝙞𝙩𝙚 𝙨𝙡𝙖𝙜𝙨.
They shamed and intimidated little girls like me into silence. They accused us of lying, or putting ourselves in risky situations, or even 𝙬𝙖𝙣𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜 to be raped.
They stood by and did nothing while young girls were being brutally abused.
And, as many other girls systematically groomed in Telford have testified, I was made to feel as though I was to blame. The system criminalised the victims, rather than going after the perpetrators.
I remember being asked by a detective whether I “consented” at any point to sexual activity, and told by a social worker that “my actions had led me to where I was today”.
All the while the Labour-led council tried to block an independent inquiry into CSE for years and their Council Leader (now the MP for Telford), along with 10 other powerful local men, even wrote a letter to the Home Secretary saying they felt an inquiry would unnecessary.
In Rotherham, Rochdale and elsewhere, victims were continually swept aside by those in positions of power, as if they chose this lifestyle. The attitudes that social workers, local services, authorities had towards children was so skewed, and so deeply unprofessional.
It broke me. And I spent years in silence because I thought I would somehow be judged or penalised for the abuse I had suffered. Because I had been conditioned to feel like I was somehow responsible for my own victimisation.
The Telford scandal made headlines when it broke in 2015, then again when the Crowther Report was released in 2022. Yet, The news cycle moved on far too quickly.
This isn’t a 60-second-and-then-done issue. For change to occur, there needs to be constant attention brought to this issue because, otherwise, silence and ignorance only serves to support the predators and the paedophiles.
This is a crime that thrives on misinformation, on fears of “racism” and a lack of awareness, and on being swept under the rug.
They rely on girls not being taken seriously, the media not caring and the police not taking any action to investigate.
These are not crimes of the past. Kids are still being exploited, groomed, raped and even murdered in council estates like mine. It isn’t enough to have empty words and hollow promises.
CSE is not a “dog whistle”.
It is a national epidemic.
But those in power like Lucy Powell refuse to address that fact for fear of being forced to confront their decades-long failure to protect young girls from abuse.
It’s easier to ignore victims, especially when they come from communities, social classes or demographics that are already disenfranchised in Britain. And for those who do speak out, it feels like you are screaming at a brick wall that would rather label you as the problem than take you seriously.
Our trauma isn’t a “dog-whistle” or a “trumpet” to blow against the Labour Party.
It is the harrowing reality of the institutional blindness and contempt that allowed little girls to be sacrificed at the altar of political correctness, while politicians sneered and branded us troublemakers and attention-seekers for daring to want justice.
Shame on Lucy Powell.
Shame on Labour.
Shame on all of them.
It’s really shocking that as a country we have to rely on private individuals such as @GBNEWS and @CDP1882 Charlie Peters to gather the facts and data around the make up of sexual abusers, and that’s entirely because successive governments never have despite repeated demands for this information, and simply because they don’t want to!
Charlie has done outstanding work uncovering much of the evidence around these cases and here’s a small snapshot of that work in the stream below.
Without facts and data it’s impossible to address the problems our country faces. So why is it those in”power” have for decades refused to begin to even gather the data….. and I’m not talking just about so called “grooming gangs” either, I mean data around EVERY sexual crime!!
That’s necessary, needed and long overdue as we all know.
Did the Prime Minister watch this documentary last night?
And will he hold a summit in Downing Street with its makers?
And will it be shown across all schools?
Let’s see…
