Percentage of younger people diagnosed with a mental health problem in the US, according to their political opinions.
I had to double check with @grok to confirm this was true.
(h/t @johnthenoticer)
So let me get this straight, I go to the grocery store and buy … a pound of sliced turkey in a plastic bag, a loaf of bread in a plastic bag, a gallon of milk in a plastic jug, a pack of napkins in plastic wrap, a store-made salad in a plastic tub, a plastic bottle of mustard and ketchup, but they won't give me a plastic bag to carry it home because the plastic bag is bad for the environment? 🙄😂
JUST IN: Tim Tebow shows horrific map of New York showing every location a person has downloaded CP over the past month, calls for more funding for law enforcement.
"This year, somewhere between 300k to a million people will be trafficked in the US."
"When you defund [the police], you're not actually caring for these boys and girls."
"We are the number one buyer of [CP] for boys and girls around the world. America is."
"In peer-to-peer sharing of this information, we're third worst in the world."
"On our hearts is to get this message out to be able to make a change and support our law enforcement and task forces that are working on this."
"There are some freaking heroes that are fighting us every single day."
God bless him.
I grew up in the 80s. If you had something bad to say about someone, you said it to their face. There were no screens to hide behind, no anonymous accounts hurling insults from the shadows.
You knew there might be immediate repercussions – maybe a heated argument, maybe even a fist fight – but you never feared for your life. There was an unspoken code of decency. You could clash and still walk away with mutual respect - and maybe a black eye.
Today we’ve traded accountability for anonymity. Keyboard warriors tear people down without consequence, fueling more hate, anger, and even violence. Outrage has become the default, drowning out basic humanity.
We don’t have to live this way. Respect, honesty, and decency aren’t relics of the past – they’re choices we can make right now.
So it seems the deep state took a career politician with dementia & cancer, staged a riot to certify his mathematically improbable election, arrested anyone who contested it, sanctioned an invasion, weaponized the courts, silenced speech, and turned the US into sodom & Gomorrah
People are not ready for this uncomfortable truth.
The current administration is attempting to overhaul the workforce of America.
First, the country is seeing a rise in native-born American workers getting a job. This reverses the trend from past administrations.
I have always thought people politicize the native-born vs foreign-born workers and it is not helpful to the economic conversation. Americans should just be Americans in my opinion. However, the government data breaks these out into separate metrics for a reason.
Second, we are seeing a decline in the government workforce. Job creation is favoring the private sector once again.
Most rational people I know are excited about less public sector jobs and more private sector jobs. They understand that a country can not thrive when the economy is exclusively dependent on the government for growth.
Regardless of what you think about the current administration, it is obvious there is a shift in policy that is creating a tailwind for native-born citizens and the private sector. These @zerohedge charts make the shift obvious.
There are pros and cons to different aspects of the policies. Some people like it. Others will hate it. But you can't ignore the change because it is objectively happening.
If I was owner I’d also get rid of humidor, reduce the size of the outfield and grow the grass in infield. I’d scout Japanese and Cuban players, and I’d sign and draft African-American players. I would double size of analytical staff and get rid of everyone who preaches old school baseball. I would reduce the prices of concessions and have a special section in ballpark for kids who get special tickets for $2O a year. I’d make Todd Helton VP and get new announcers who aren’t homers and I’d retire the numbers of Vinny and Dante. And I’d dump Dinger and get a real finny mascot, and I’d put the games on TV free. That’s for starters. I got much more. I’d turn Coors into Fueld of Dreams. Now the Rockies are the franchise of nightmares.
On April 15th I think about the letter Donald Rumsfeld would attach to his taxes each year
“I know that I do not know whether or not my tax returns are accurate”
The fact that Democrats are fighting the first real effort to root out waste, fraud, and abuse from our government is a very bad look, from which one can only draw a negative inference.
You doth protest too much, methinks.
