🇬🇷 Rheinmetall Landsysteme GmbH and GEK Terna S.A. announced a strategic partnership aimed at enhancing Greece’s defence capabilities and reinforcing the country’s sovereign industrial base in the defence sector. @RheinmetallAG

The partnership is intended to provide the Hellenic Armed Forces with based on new tactical land systems as well as lifecycle maintenance and upgrade of existing assets. A central objective of the cooperation is the systematic development of enduring industrial capabilities within the Hellenic Army’s own industrial facilities, complemented by the active participation of Greek small and medium-sized enterprises.

By progressively establishing domestic production, integration, maintenance and support capacities, the partnership seeks to strengthen Greece’s long-term operational self-reliance, institutional expertise and sovereign ability to sustain critical defence capabilities throughout their entire lifecycle.
