One has all the right in the world to argue the validity/invalidity of chivalry but Sanji 'being' chivalrous is not stupid by any means. It's actually pretty fucking brilliant on Oda's part seeing how he established the 'wings'.

#ONEPIECE has 1,500+ amazing characters designs but Oda's promotional characters have not been equally long-lived or cherished. For example, 'Janken' (a play on 'JUMP-DOG' and 'janken' (rock, paper, scissors) the mascot of a largely forgotten JUMP 'certification' campaign.

If you are a #ONEPIECE JUMP collector I strongly advise you to track down these two while they're still pretty easy to find & cheap. The Akamaru Luffy is rare artistically bc it's Luffy on a non-weekly JUMP-family cover. Oda doesn't do that these days almost as a rule unless...

Domi Reversi as a *concept* is cool because it can make anyone a villain.

But in function, with the death gimmick at the forefront, what it actually means for the story is a major excuse for emboldening Oda's greatest fault, his fear of depicting death/consequences.

This is a super interesting topic. Gonna have to strong disagree but no disrespect. Reason being that Naruto was *so* firmly established. The art style and theme being wildly different from western works whereas OP was pirates. Then when Bleach entered it was an absolute TKO.

Not worth a strong disagree because it's clearly ragebait but it's a topic that definitely is worth serious discussion. Good, bad, or ugly, Oda's style has absolutely changed over the years. That's not difficult to see at all and even back in the aughts we discussed it to death.
