@BoundDev this is one reason i dont play vrchat, among other things like the menu keeps changing, drama, ads sponsors, vrc+ being shoved down your throat.
i play resonite and avoid vrc. i'm not telling you to ditch vrc, just voicing my experience.

its the laser turning on and off but even then the lasers in them are robust and somewhat replaceable, when they start to fail they will get more dim over time, they are just standard disk drive lasers the ir one in them
