@NJ_MVC Hey, maybe send out an email to people who had appointments, so we don't take off work and drive 30 minutes in traffic. Just saying.

[JT Herschman @jtherschman]

@DigDeepBSB @thevictorypress @TheIceGarden It is, and I can't say this emphatically enough, absolute bullsh*t. @thepwhlofficial, be better.

[JT Herschman @jtherschman]

@jordynbtw @DibbaDo @zamboni_jumponi @thepwhlofficial @TiffanyAndCo I don't. She's been part of erasing WoHo history since the PWHL started, whether on purpose or because she doesn't know it. They're using her name and reputation as a shield against exactly this kind of criticism.

[JT Herschman @jtherschman]

@JSB_TV @rockcenternyc @PWHL_NewYork @thepwhlofficial That's cool, but they're definitely not the first

[JT Herschman @jtherschman]

@PWHL_Minnesota @NatalieDarwitz @thepwhlofficial You're making it really hard to root for your success.

[JT Herschman @jtherschman]

@saucyrockets Honestly, I just want to see them not roll out a partially formed league. If they're not going to use the PHF brand, then maybe take some time and get everything set up properly before starting to play. This looks amateurish.

[JT Herschman @jtherschman]

@saucyrockets That's fair. The NWHL/PHF was by no means a perfect organization, and it sounds like they did some really crappy things leading up to the sale. I don't mean to undercut that. But there were (and are) better ways to bring in their fans.

[JT Herschman @jtherschman]

@saucyrockets That specific comment was from one (very influential) player, but there were other comments like it.

I don't know. I want to support this league because I want to support WoHo, but it feels like a struggle right now. I guess we'll see how signings go.

[JT Herschman @jtherschman]

@saucyrockets Again, whether this is intentional or not, it's always felt like their real goal was to force the PHF to fold, not to create a new league. And the way this rollout has gone so far isn't doing anything to make me feel otherwise.

[JT Herschman @jtherschman]

@saucyrockets The comments, whether intentionally or not, were never just about the corporate entity. Calling a league that players and fans have poured their soul into a "beer league" is insulting. There's no way to separate the players from the management like that.

There is a lot for the new #WoHo league to do come January. What do we know & what has to be sorted?

I'll be very curious to see the finalized travel policies, especially given the WNBPA's ongoing fight for charter flights.

Devastated

The PHF is done. There is now one league: the PWHPA. The PW's owners have bought the PHF's teams.

As a New Jerseyan who spent the whole episode yelling, "It has wings!" I appreciate @jennyowenyoungs' thorough explanation of the Jersey Devil on this week's @bufferingcast.
