A huge Thank you to our hosts in south Texas the last few days! Some of the experiences this industry has provided my team and I are pretty incredible!

If you go to your supplies/retailer for #fertilizer needs and they say they are struggling to get a price
THEY ARE NOT LYING TO YOU
These markets are severely disrupted right now. They are doing all they can.
This is turning into the nightmare scenario we always feared....
There will be some tough decisions to be made when buying #fertilizer.
All, do your supplier a favor and have a conversation regarding your plans. Don't have to lock it in. Just keep them in the loop.
Lot of risk in this environment.
Starting with soybeans grown by CHS farmer-owners, CHS crushes soybeans and processes them into refined soy oil before including as a key ingredient in a this new line of adjuvants. https://t.co/ePEejCG5c8
Through Feb our agronomy team has helped the Kasson Mantorville HS with their intro to ag class. Yesterday, was our last day in the classroom and Ag Teacher, Lori Pagel, presented our Ag Sales Manager, Jordan Thiel, this beautiful wooden plaque made by a talented student.
Long range forecast looks warm/dry across a lot of the U.S. Expect most of the market to start applying #fertilizer all at the same time which will devastate already strained logistics.
If you haven't talked to your retailer/supplier yet...well, you have been warned!
To kick of our Spring season we will be introducing our staff on Meet the Team Thursdays!
Meet Jacob Rindels, from Spring Valley, he’s worked for just over a year at CHS. Learn more on our Facebook page
We are already into week 2 of Harvest for Hunger. Thanks to all our supports that have already donated non-perishable food items or monetary donations! If you haven't its not too late. Please contact our offices today to make a donation to help support our local food pantries!
Have you lined up your crop input financing for 2021? Autumn Rewards is still available to qualified producers at 2.9%! Reach out to your CHS agronomist to review the low interest options we offer for financing!
Sounds like #potash is tired of not being talked about. Hearing rumors that prices are up $50/ton this morning.
Given how much everything else has gone up, it is just surprising how long it took for them to do this.
If you wonder why your local retailer/coop changes their #fertilizer prices so often, #urea values have changed (down & up) $50 in less than 48 hours.
Trust me when I say, it is worth having conversations with them for your rough in season needs. Tough to plan in these markets.
