Look at how City operate and it’s obvious why they’re so successful.

They signed Marmoush, Doku, and Savinho in the last two years.

When those players didn’t meet Guardiola’s standards, they didn’t start talking about “platforming” them better or reshaping the entire system to suit them.

They simply went out and signed Cherki and Semenyo. That’s four attacking signings within one year. No excuses and no emotional attachment.
