@TheMrJourneyer @vincenzolandino That's a recent report that GM wants Herta, but we also know Towriss has had a relationship with him for 8+ years and Andretti (of course) wanted him in '22 when they tried to buy Sauber. We just don't know enough yet, but a new owner NOT wanting Colton was my 1st thought.

‼️ Colton Herta is still one point away from the 40 points needed to acquire a superlicence to race in F1.

The Race understands this is due to an error on IndyCar's website which has now been corrected earlier this week - which means Herta erroneously gained points for finishing 6th in IndyCar last year, when he actually finished 7th.

@vincenzolandino I know you cover it, I'm on your mailing list & read all of it. But yeah, I think the PR is bad. He said fans won't watch every race "on television". Correct! I'm an F1 nerd so I was up at 3am to watch Malaysia, but most won't. He means they'll watch later on a different platform
