My first year of football I was in 5th grade playing pop warner and was playing with kids all my age… I was a fat out of shape kid who just did school and played a ton of video games. They put me on the scale and I was 35 pounds over the weight limit and got moved up to midget class which was the 8th graders. I had no friends and the first couple weeks was nothing but conditioning. I remember we had to do 50 yard bear crawls down and back and after the 2nd rep I went and hid in the porta potty til it was over. I came home crying and told my mom I wanted to quit because it was too hard. Thank the lord my mom encouraged me to keep going. Went from almost giving up to a solid NFL career… whatever you do in this life don’t quit just keep going 💪🏾💪🏾
Hey Sooner Nation!
Due to our travel schedule to all conference away games, we will not be traveling to Temple this week. We are so grateful for the St. Joseph’s University Hawk Band for filling in for us in Philadelphia this weekend!
We’ll see you for Auburn!
Boomer!
Let’s get this party started. Got (4) of these mini helmets signed by @JasonKelce. We’ll give away one during each quarter of the game. RT for a chance to win.
Michael Wilbon calls network out for 'greed' in 12-team College Football Playoff format, pushes for 8-team layout:
“They’re not going to go from 12 to 8 because this is a greed play. It’s a money play for everybody, including this network.
12 is too many, and I’m going to disagree with people who are true experts, many of them colleagues and many of them friends on this network who’ve been talking all day, and they all bless 12.”
Wilbon cites it's 'heinous' for college players to play 16 to 17 games and teams with first-round byes have rust.
