@Eelse_slayer Agreed. Sadly "health reasons" is used EXTREMELY broadly, and fans rarely know exactly what is going on and what the truth of the idol's situation is.
HaSeul being so open gives OURII confidence about her condition and her progress towards returning.
@Eelse_slayer Technically HaSeul isn't on full hiatus, like in 2020-21. She is just not able to participate in promotions this year - she's more on music equivalent of sports "injured list".
But yes, there should be more granularity in levels of participation that idols can do while inactive.
@noirvouz Paid for Objekt sales, definitely. Paid for her share of album sales, definitely. She won't get a share of sales or merch for the upcoming tour, since she won't take part. A regular paycheck? No idea if that's even how it works.
That said, HaSeul is wealthy and will be fine.
@theReal_MKC You're not wrong, but I think it's pretty much "Now or Never". If they waited for YuJin to finish her contract with Kep1er...it might be 2-3 more years before they could reunite on stage. This way, at least, we might get a reboot, which if successful, YuJin could rejoin later.
@jenniespecs@haseulpretty She told me during a video call in January that itโs jazz. I spoke to her again at Valentines Day and she said had been working with Jaden on the songs, but had not recorded much yet.
Jazz = no choreo so she can do solo shows again in the fall.
@imhimsmileyface@kimlipagenda HaSeul's father is a very successful interior designer in Seoul - the family definitely has money, just not chaebol-level money.
@goalkeeper02134@realboshek Pfft. I'm so old I remember going to see the AA Charlotte Hornets in Griffith Park (before it was Crockett Park and then burned to the ground) in what is now South End. โพ๏ธ
@Osaki_Matt@baepsua From what I have heard the $1 tickets are in place because the tour expenses have been covered from the earlier tickets sold, and now they are providing an opportunity for on-the-fence or new fans to check out CRTK for (essentially) free. So it's a "grow the fan base" plan.
@baepsua A LOT depends upon European promoters and whether they feel like UAU is a money-maker. And like it or not, UAU isn't Dreamcatcher.
"Blue-dot fever" or whatever, if the tour promoters don't book it, DCC doesn't have the resources to do it themselves.
@xkaidus@aakashgupta Construction isn't finished; what is being celebrated is the pinnacle of the tallest spire being added.
There are still several key elements to be constructed, as shown in this image (brown areas still to come). Completion is estimated for 2034.
@tokkiggomi@chuu_Ivr@atrp I think it is more that tour promoters aren't coming to ATRP & saying "Let us tour Chuu." Or, ATRP is putting it out there, but promoters aren't biting. Or ATRP and promoters can't come to terms. A LOT of tours have underperformed this last year; promoters are getting picky.
@tokkiggomi@chuu_Ivr@atrp It's not totally or even primarily on ATRP. Promoters in the various regions have to want to book & invest in tours with the expectation of making a profit. ATRP is not a tour promoter - they contract with them since that is what promoters specialize in.
@Dia2244yuh@icvrus_@emmawatmother I think CTD did a pretty good job w/ Loobleโฆthey promoted them well, esp. โTTYLโ era. Loossemble just didn't catch on and CTD pulled the plug because of declining sales rather than keep trying.
@Dia2244yuh@icvrus_@emmawatmother I donโt think the new company was going to be MH but I honestly donโt know. Whoever it was HyunJin said there was a snag with CTD and it couldnโt be resolved, and the members couldnโt afford to wait months to try to find ANOTHER company- they had bills to pay.
@Dia2244yuh@icvrus_@emmawatmother Pretty clear that 1, 3, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, & 11 are close. 2, 4 & 5 off on their own doing their own thing and we rarely see them interact. 12 - who knows?
@Dia2244yuh@icvrus_@emmawatmother Opportunity to sign at MH was 2023, not 2026. They said more than once MH door was open to all then. Five signed there, seven didnโt.
ARTMS is unique group now with its own identity; itโs not Loona. No idea if Looble members talked to MH post-CTD, but they have all moved on.
